Grausamkeit - Helveterich demo

15th demo release from Germany's Grausamkeit, released in 1999. Grausamkeit was a solo black metal project of B.S.O.D started in 1994 in Bischmisheim. Old school, grainy quality exactly the way it should be. This is by far his strangest of releases. There are a few filler tracks on this demo, but for the most part remains solid.

John Coltrane - Stellar Regions

A very free-form Coltrane album, released in 1967. One of my favorite jazz records, if not my absolute best. There are a number of things to pay attention to in this incredible release..the main being the percussion. Listen to the sixth track, "Configuration" to understand why.

John Coltrane - composer, tenor saxophone
Alice Coltrane - piano
Jimmy Garrison - bass
Rashied Ali - drums

Asakku/Curse split tape

Split cassette released in 1995, mainly added because of the Asakku side of the split. Curse is a bit weak for my liking..but this is a worthy piece of underground black metal nonetheless. Raw German evil.

1) Blasphemous Incantation
2) Chalice Of Ecstasy
3) Infant Jesus Dead (Ecstasy Version)

4) The Winter Of Mayhem
5) The Silent Forests
6) The Flaming Sword

Zero Kama - The Secret Eye of L.A.Y.L.A.H.

"All instruments to be heard on this album were exclusively made from human bones and skulls by the hand of Zero Kama. They never have been used since the time of its recording, which took place at the Secret Temple of Laylah from 5th to 28th of May 1984 . Remixed at Psychonaut Studio Vienna in November 1987, and dedicated to the symbol of Laylah, meaning night and death, as well as to its numerical equivalent, Oz, a goat or unrestrained sexual force of creation, thus showing the identity of the basic two opposite forces in this generous universe of beauty and strength, in which the Lovers my find ecstasy in Pan. Who wishes to enter this world of darkness, in which the Great Goat dwelleth, may pass through the sigil of Oz given at the front of this Cover."

Supreme ritual ambient project of Michael DeWitt, who is also the founder of Nekrophile Records.
Originally released as a cassette in 1984, re-released as lp in 1988.

Discharge - Realities of War

Stoke on Trent's Discharge is not only responsible for "crust" punk, but considered the first band to play hardcore punk in general. This EP absolutely speaks for itself.
Released in 1980

Brenoritvrezorkre - Vèrmyaprèb

A highly obscure release from France's Brenoritvrezorkre, a primarily one-man project of the early 90's underground Black Metal circle Les Légions Noires. The LLN has become widely known for their outstandingly abstract and sinister art, as far as this demo is concerned; I couldn't suggest a better introduction to this magnificent, enigmatic collective.
